Armed with a B.A. in Fine Arts, Alexis Russell first fell in love with metalwork in 2002 and took her first steps towards becoming a designer while working as an apprentice to a jeweler. After three years of apprenticeship, Alexis yearned to craft pieces of her own vision and launched her eponymous fine jewelry line.
Since 2005, Alexis has been passionately cultivating designs that speak to the modern man and woman for everyday wear. Utilizing traditional techniques, Alexis fuses her contemporary aesthetic with classic design to create fresh, progressive alternatives to conventional styles.
With each piece joyfully handcrafted in the U.S. by skilled artisans, Alexis draws inspiration from the natural form of the materials, employing the use of precious metals, as well as conflict-free diamonds and gemstones. The resulting aesthetic provides a non-traditional twist on elegant, delicate and refined jewelry that can be worn for any occasion. The line is currently carried in select fine boutiques nationwide as well as online.
The former California native currently works and resides in New York with her husband and son.
