Sagaponack artist María Schön, she is an abstract painter and a supreme colorist. She paints modern forms and visually interesting textures centered upon her childhood memories of Venezuela and its tropical landscapes. Also featured in the showroom, East Hampton artist James DeMartis (sculptures, various metals and glass), East Hampton artist Casey Dalene (painted designs on fabrics and textiles), and Patchogue artist John Cino (hand carved sculptures, various woods).

Dodds and Eder HOME located in Sag Harbor is under new ownership. Dottie Simons teams up with Carrie Leopold in presenting their showroom with fine outdoor furnishings, art and sculpture. Superb artwork from local artists and artisans in now on display and is available for purchase. Dottie and Carrie have created an exciting blueprint for their outdoor furniture gallery and they been innovated and influential in the furniture industry for the past 20 years. Kathy Zeiger, founder of Art Walk Hamptons (www.artwalkhamptons.com), has been appointed to be the lead art curator. Ms. Zeiger has worked several years hosting art walks in all of the Hamptons, including the popular Thanksgiving Saturday Art Walk held each November. Her plan is to invite her friends, artists and curators, to co-curate the showroom to enliven the art collectives at Dodds and Eder. For the first exhibition, Esperanza Leon of Solar Contemporary Art and Design (www.artsolar.com) co-curates. Ms. Leon is entering her second decade as a curator of the arts in the Hamptons.
