Sag Harbor’s own Rossa Cole is one of the most admired and prominent
eco-artists in the green movement in the Hamptons. His work has been shown in many exhibitions in the Hamptons and in New York City. In November 2013, he was one of the emerging artists tapped and featured in the popular “Artists Choose Artists" group exhibition at the Parrish Art Museum.
Rossa Cole's focus on ecology led his process and passion to become a sought after eco-artist sculptor and photographer. His artistic voice suggests the power one has in preserving and protecting the environment in our new reality of climate change. For his broom sculpture, he replaced each bristle of a household broom with individual green blades of grass, his subtle reminder “to not sweep away nature".
