Artist, Susan Marx a New Jersey native and resident is the featured artist at FIAF (French Alliance Arts Francaise) New Jersey. She was chosen to be so as a local artist who is heavily influenced by French Impressionists and the Fauves.
Marx has traveled to France on many occasions to paint in Giverny and Provence, and will be exhibiting many of the works that she painted while on these trips.
A native to New Jersey, Marx can also often be found painting 'en plein air' in various gardens throughout Montclair. She will be exhibiting many of these works in this show as well.
There will be an opening reception which coincides with FIAF's Open House for their Spring Season. The Reception & Open House begin at 2 pm on April 3rd. The exhibition runs through April 27th and may be viewed whenever FIAF is open.
