"Named after the very old and beloved pear tree in my back yard, Pear Tree Preserves is based out of Chicago and is made with all fresh, local and organically grown produce. It is all handmade by me and the flavors change with the season. My inspiration comes from the traditions of the past, and great respect for what the seasons bring, with the goal of wasting nothing."—Susie Kirkwood
All produce is grown in the midwest by farmers with good sustainable practices, not all of them are certified organic but all are naturally grown, with no non-organic sprays.
All batches are small, and flavors limited.
Special requests and orders are taken, providing i can find organically grown, local fruit for the ingredients.
