Rare and unique geographic and climatic forces have allowed Chile to remain one of the very few grape growing regions in the world where oringinal European rootstocks survive and flourish. This sparked the idea to embark on a journey to create a new Rewined candle fragrance. The team from Rewined flew from Charleston, SC to the Colchagua Valley in Chile to meet with the talented winemakers behind Root:1 and learn about the Carmenere grape. The sights, smells and sounds have culminated into a limited edition candle. From wine to wax, this rare, deep violet varietal is rich with the aromas of blackberry and ripe pepper.
