After a brief, refreshing hiatus Breakwater Design and Consulting, LLC, is gearing up for a renewed design season. The Southampton, New York company will continue to specialize in creative, streamlined, integrated design solutions providing unique identity, branding and marketing. Through a vibrant global network, built over more than twenty years of effective design solutions, they have strong working relationships with both pre-existing companies and start-ups throughout the United States and the world beyond. In addition, they are the sole creators of this website—The Nice Niche, a blog that was created to provide a visual aide for other Artists and Small Businesses.

Ryan Salinetti, Designer and Creative Director believes there is a creative solution for every project. She has worked with a wide, diverse range of industries from the high-end world of private estates, to retail and engraving at Tiffany's, to entrepreneurs turning dirt into asphalt, to the unusual science of Ground Penetrating Radar equipment. Her capacity for creativity in different walks of life speaks for itself. After years of running a freelance design firm, as well working with several in-house design teams, Ryan opened Breakwater Design in the early 2000s. While taking time mid-way to start a family and explore a range of interests and adventures, she never stopped taking on the occasional design project. Today Ryan re-launches Breakwater Design & Consulting, coming full circle in her love and appreciation of all things design.
