For Whitney’s White Linen Night, August 1, 2015, Martine Chaisson Gallery is pleased to present New Orleans-based artist Mallory Page. For this exhibition she will present large scale paintings which incorporate modern interpretations from the writings of the 13th Century poet, Rumi. From modern slang, to her own poetic titles the monochromatic works evoke sensory and relay the artists constant questioning, critiquing and evolving as both a woman and an artist.
