Wine Spectator cited Wolffer's rose wine and new ciders; McCall's Bordeaux-style red blend, which is mainly merlot; and Bedell's popularization of local merlot, as well as the winery's artist series labels.
In December, Newsday listed its 12 favorite Long Island wines that are currently available.
