Mention: "Conceptual artist Federico Uribe(previously), just released a new collection of artworks made from repurposed old books that have been cut up and reassembled into remarkably realistic sculptures of animals. The sculptures which were recently on display at art on paper in New York City, explore the the unique qualities and the potential of paper as a sculptural material. Speaking about his work Uribe says, “I have the hope, that people who relate to my sculptures and live with them, will see the love I put into them. I want people to feel that I do this with a lot of careful attention and the purpose of beauty. I give my life to my work and I want people to see it.”
