Caroline Zucchero Hurley was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.

She graduated from The Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Painting. To Caroline, painting is color in motion, play-time, the beauty in the mundane.

She was a fellow at VCCA and a resident at The New Museum.

In 2011 Caroline created Caroline Z Hurley, a homeware company, where home is a work of art.

Every piece is hand-made in her studio in Brooklyn.

"I had a hankering to try out the west coast so I moved there and made paintings in a huge aircraft hanger and was able to work really large which was a turning point for me and my work.  I moved back to New York but still work on large canvases in my studio in Dumbo.   Since being in NYC I have started making wearable textiles and linen throws and also Jewelry.  All of the products I make are sold at stores in NYC and LA."—Caroline Z.
